Looking at Lights!

We are fortunate to live near some really neat light displays. One of them is at Iron Mountain Marina (that's where the picture behind our title is from). There is a point you drive though then you get out and walk down onto the docks where they put the BIG houseboats. Those boats are amazing! If you look inside the one below, it looks like a gourmet kitchen.

It's been a long time since I've been upclose to a houseboat. Wow! They have improved.

We also happened across Miss Arkansas signing autographs. The kids were excited to meet her and get a signed picture. She was really nice. Bless her heart. It was really cold out there! And she just sat on the dock signing pictures all night.

Josh was so excited because one of the boats had a train set up. The boats were all totally decked out for Christmas and some of the owners were there with cookies and hot cocoa for everyone. It was so neat. We missed it last year. We are going to another one this Thursday. It is really neat! It is Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs. I'll post pictures from that!

Another highlight of last week was that Lance came to see us! We love having family come to visit and it was a real treat to get to show him our little part of the world. He had to sign our graffiti wall in the upstairs hall!
