Well, it's the first day of school in Arkadelphia!
Ryan is in third grade. All summer he said he wanted to have Mrs. Crow this year. Guess who he got! Mrs. Crow. You'll find a picture of her with Ryan on yesterday's post. Ryan is excited because he has a young lady in his class named Shihoko. She is from Japan and will be here for a year while her dad studies at OBU. We were fortunate to meet Shihoko's family before school started, but Ryan found out today that she is going to teach the class origami! She brought supplies from Japan!
Sydney is coming off a stupendous year in kindergarten with Mrs. Conzel, a great teacher! This year she is fortunate to have Mrs. Syler in first grade. While we dont' know her well, she seems extremely nice and when I asked her to take a picture at Meet the Teacher last year, she wanted to take a silly one! That's got to be a good sign! She also has really good website. I like that! Sydney got to write a story in her class today about our recent trip to Florida and she read it to her class!

perfect. I hate it that YOU have the hydrangas in bloom and that they're not mine! That's ok...rub it in on the blog. you have some beautiful children, and the photos are so good. i'm so glad we know y'all.
